1. Who we are
AI Gold Rush (aigoldrush.co.uk) is operated by Ultimate Vision Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14613662. Our registered office is Office 4 Kingsway North, Team Valley Trading Estate, Gateshead, NE11 0JH, United Kingdom.
Ultimate Vision Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at info@ultimatevision.uk.
2. Personal data we collect
We only collect personal data that you give us directly, plus a small amount of technical data used to keep the site secure and working. This includes:
- Email address, and optionally your name, company, website and any message you send, when you sign up to the newsletter or submit a form (build-for-me, playbooks, pro, advertise, contact)
- The wording of the consent you gave and the date and time you gave it
- The page you signed up or enquired from, and any campaign tags in the link you followed
- A salted, one-way hash of your IP address, used to prevent form abuse and spam; we do not store your raw IP address and cannot reverse the hash back into an IP address
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so we do not collect the kind of behavioural or device data that those tools would gather.
3. Why we process your data, and our lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Sending the newsletter you signed up for | Your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) |
| Responding to a build-for-me, advertise or contact enquiry, and providing a quote | Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in running our business (Article 6(1)(f)) |
| Recording playbook or Pro waitlist interest | Your consent and our legitimate interest in developing products people want |
| Preventing spam and abuse of our forms (rate limiting) | Our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and usable (Article 6(1)(f)) |
| Understanding aggregate site usage, for example which opportunities are popular | Our legitimate interest in improving the site; this data is tied to a hashed IP address, not to you personally |
4. Cookies
We use one strictly necessary session cookie to keep your session working (for example, so a form submission is remembered after a redirect and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery). We do not use any non-essential cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. See our full cookie policy.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, specifically:
- Our web hosting provider, which stores our database and server logs
- Our email sending infrastructure, used only to send you the emails you have requested or that relate to your enquiry
We may also disclose data if required to do so by law, or to protect our legal rights.
6. International transfers
Our systems are hosted in the United Kingdom. If this ever changes such that your data is transferred outside the UK, we will update this policy and ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
7. How long we keep your data
- Newsletter subscriber records: kept while you remain subscribed, and for a short period after you unsubscribe to record that choice, then deleted
- Lead and enquiry records (build-for-me, playbooks, pro, advertise, contact): kept for as long as reasonably needed to handle your enquiry and for our business records, and then deleted or anonymised
- Event logs: kept in aggregate form for site improvement; these are tied to a hashed IP address rather than to an identifiable person
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data
- Ask us to restrict or object to certain processing
- Ask for your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, for example by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email
To exercise any of these rights, email info@ultimatevision.uk. We will respond within one month.
9. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
10. Children
AI Gold Rush is aimed at adults running or starting a business or side project. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
12. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
